Aksana Poczobut detained near prosecutor’s office in Hrodna

Journalists Andrei Fralou and Yan Roman were interviewing Andrzej Poczobut’s wife Aksana near the regional prosecutor’s office.

Security officers approached them and asked to enter the building. They were demanded to give written explanations why they were recording video without permission. Yan Roman, Andrei Fralou and Aksana Poczobut were left in the prosecutor’s office for about 40 minutes and then allowed to go,” Euroradio reports.

We remind that Andrzej Poczobut is charged with “insulting” and “defaming” the head of state. He may face from 2 to 4 years in prison. Poczobut has been in a pretrial detention facility in Hrodna since April 7.
