A Red Army man with a washing machine: Czech Republic 'modified' a monument to the Soviet soldier
The monument has been styled according to modern events.
The monument to the Red Army soldier in Litoměřice, Czech Republic, has been transformed to look like soldiers of the "Second World Army". The monument has been styled and the soldier is now standing on a washing machine. Visegrád 24 reports about it.
The authors of the "modification" have also drawn in red paint that the army man's heart is bleeding.
"Someone covered it with red paint after modifying the pedestal, making it look like a washing machine," the report says.
It should be noted that the monument previously praised the Soviet army.
It is still a mystery who exactly decided to "modernize" the monument, but users of social networks liked the idea:
"It looks beautiful, the styling of the washing machine is impressive."
"Very clever. Great job!",
"Vandals? Far from it, it even looks more accurate now".
