‘Mousetrap’ For Russian Troops Is Closing: Up-To-Date Map Of Hostilities In Kharkiv Region

Over the past day, on September 9, Ukrainian defenders were able to take control of the village of Borovske in the Kharkiv region, thereby expanding the gray zone near Shevchenkove. Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated part of the large city of Kupyansk.

As of September 10, in the morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to liberate the right-bank part of one of the largest cities in the Kharkiv region - Kupyansk. Due to the successes in the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian troops, the Russian occupying army has already begun its global retreat.
At the same time, Ukrainian servicemen are attacking Lyman in the Donetsk region. Judging by their movements, the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to take Izyum into the so-called “mousetrap”. Ukrainian soldiers are attacking Izyum from the northwest, north, northeast and southeast.
Also, as shown on the map, the Defense Forces partially liberated the following settlements of the Kharkiv region: Shchurovka, Olkhovatka and Borodoyarskoye. Moving towards Izyum from Lyman, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Husarivka, Protopopivka, Petrivske along the way. Also, Ukrainian soldiers came close to the village. Kovsharivka, near Kupyansk.
Im[ortant to note, the Armed Forces of Ukraine occupied Balakliya and many other settlements previously occupied by the Russian Federation in the Kharkiv region, putting the Russian group of many thousands in the strategically important city of Izyum under the threat of encirclement.
