Russian media cancelled this statement later.

The Russian Ministry of Defence stated that the command of the Dnepr group decided to transfer troops to more advantageous positions east of the Dnipro River.

"The Dnepr will free up part of the forces that will be used for an offensive in other directions after the regrouping," RIA Novosti quotes Russian MoD's statement.

Russian media then cancelled the news about the regrouping of Dnepr troops, declaring that it was a mistake.

By the beginning of November, the Armed Forces of Ukraine had created several bridgeheads on the Russian-controlled left bank of the Dnipro River. In particular, the Ukrainian troops controlled a significant part of the village of Krynki and managed to transfer several hundred marines to this bridgehead under cover of friendly artillery and drones from the right bank.
