You can see the glow for miles.

On the night of October 17, drones attacked the temporarily occupied Crimea: explosions occurred in the village of Gvardeyskoye, as well as in Simferopol. Smoke from the fire after the attack can be seen for many kilometers.

The drones probably attacked a local oil depot and an ammunition depot (BK) of the Russians. A column of smoke is also seen, tentatively, over one of the local airfields. The attack was reported by the monitoring channel "Crimean Wind".

"The village of Gvardeyskoye is attacked by drones, an oil depot is on fire, subscribers report. Shooting and explosions began around 02:40 hours. Also, according to preliminary information, there is a hit on the ammunition depot," - stated in the message.

Also in the publik released footage from the site of the defeat of Russian facilities in Crimea. The videos show a fire rising.

Subsequently, the monitoring channel released a satellite image of the attacked oil depot in Gvardeyskoye. According to analysts, the facility belongs to the ATAN gas station network, which is the largest network of leading gas stations in occupied Crimea.

"It seems that now there will be even less gasoline and diesel fuel in Crimea," the analysts said.

At around 06:20 hours, explosions erupted again in Crimea: this time they were heard in Simferopol and Simferopol district, the Telegram channel specified. A few minutes later, the explosions sounded again: in total, locals heard at least four loud explosions.

"The dawn is visible for many kilometers, subscribers report," analysts noted.

The monitoring channel later specified that two columns of smoke were visible from Simferopol. One of them is from the attacked oil depot burning in Gvardeyskoye, and the other is probably from the direction of one of the local airfields.

"One is from the burning oil depot in Gvardeyskoye, the second is from Simferopol airport or the airfield in Gvardeyskoye (they are almost on the same line)," analysts said.

The analysts were unable to pinpoint the exact location that was probably hit by the drones at the time of publication. There was also no official data on the attack or the hitting of facilities in Crimea.
