Anti-Russian Protests Erupt In India

The rally gathered relatives of those deceitfully recruited into the Russian army.

In Delhi, parents, brothers and sisters of Indians tricked into enlisting in the Russian army came out to protest, "Rain" reported.

Many of them went to Russia, they were told, to study, but were forced to sign a contract in Russian. The last person killed and returned home was 28-year-old Sonu, his funeral was held on October 29.

About 50 relatives came out to the rally, according to journalists, demanding a response from the Indian government and asking for their sons and brothers to be returned home. They came out with a placard with 20 photos of Indians in military uniforms - all of them ended up in the Russian army, some of them are missing, two of them died, but relatives cannot get their bodies back.

The families of the victims are not receiving any compensation from the Russian authorities, according to media reports.
