Russia will need to rely on its own production.
Iran's war against Israel may limit Russia's supply of ballistic missiles from the Islamic republic. This opinion was expressed by Western officials, The Telegraph reports.
They said Tehran will likely want to stockpile its own supplies rather than transfer them abroad, as it has previously promised Russia.
"The recent hostilities between Israel and Iran will undoubtedly have a negative impact on Iran's future supplies, particularly missiles," a senior NATO official stressed.
They added that Russia would have to manufacture its own missiles or rely on supplies from North Korea.
The Telegraph's interlocutor noted that there could also be less support for Russia to produce Iranian attack drones.
"However, this is unlikely to be a problem for Moscow, which now produces single-use attack drones like Shahed itself," the piece noted.
