The president of the United States is not happy with Putin.
The US will supply weapons to Ukraine through NATO. Its cost will be fully paid by the Alliance.
U.S. President Donald Trump said this, Reuters reported. Trump detailed that the U.S. has a new agreement with NATO allies and Ukraine to supply U.S. weapons.
"We ship weapons to NATO, and NATO pays for those weapons 100 percent. So the weapons that are sent are sent to NATO, and then NATO delivers those weapons (to Ukraine), and NATO pays for those weapons," the White House chief explained.
"We supply NATO weapons, and NATO reimburses the full cost of those weapons," he added.
In addition, Trump announced that he will make an "important statement" on Russian Federation on Monday.
It is noteworthy that Trump has recently been unhappy with Putin and the lack of progress in ending the war.
"On Monday, I'm going to make an important statement on Russia," Trump said briefly in an interview with NBC News, declining to elaborate further.
