Girkin Predicts A Counteroffensive By The Ukrainian Armed Forces

Russian terrorist and former "DNR" leader Igor Strelkov (Girkin), now imprisoned in a case of "discrediting the authorities," is panicking. From a cell in a Russian detention center, he published a forecast in which he said: the Russian army is stuck on the front, and Ukraine is preparing a response.

Strelkov said the Russian offensive is "stuck" and has not achieved its goals. He believes that already this month the Ukrainian forces may move into an active phase of a counteroffensive.

"I assume a possible counterstrike (or even counterstrikes) of the enemy," he wrote.

Strelkov named Donbass and the area of the Tendrovskaya and Kinburnskaya Kos, where, according to him, the Russian army has moved too far away from fortified positions and is vulnerable, as potential directions.

He paid special attention to the tactics of the AFU, suggesting that before the main strike, the Ukrainian military may launch a massive fire attack on Russian air defense systems using drones, missiles and possibly F-16 fighters.

"Before the strike, the enemy will probably try to take out our air defense and other means of fire support with a massive strike of UAVs, aircraft (F-16s, among others) and various missile systems," he added.
