Estonian military conducted the first live firing of U.S.-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers.

The first live firing of HIMARS MLRS was conducted on Friday, July 11, on the Estonian island of Saaremaa. Such weapons arrived in the country this spring after months of training.

The military said all the missiles successfully hit sea targets at a distance of up to 15 kilometers - their size is comparable to an ordinary bucket.

"Yes, they work! Today, the Estonian Defense Forces for the first time conducted exercises using their own HIMARS systems," the Estonian Defense Ministry said.
