Russian Drone Shot Down Near Pinsk

New information about a Russian drone, which was shot down in the airspace of our country, has emerged.

The Russian drone flew almost 500 km along the Belarusian-Ukrainian border - past Gomel, Mozyr, Pinsk. When it was just over 100 km away from Poland, the Belarusian military shot it down from an Mi-24 helicopter.

The incident happened on July 12. Today, Ukrainian monitoring groups tracked the route of the drone.

It entered the Belarusian airspace near Gomel and headed towards Zhitomir. But then it went off course and flew to the West instead of the South.

Belarusians took Mi-24 helicopter into the air, which caught up with the drone and shot it down just outside Pinsk.
