Belarusians Are Being Prepared For Drone Attacks

The authorities recognize that UAVs regularly fly into Belarus.

Yelsk district newspaper Narodny Golas has published advice from local military commander Dmitry Rusetsky on what to do when a drone is spotted.

"Unmanned aerial vehicles crash in the event of a successful attack or air defense (air defense). Even after landing, the devices can be dangerous," explains the district newspaper.

If a person sees a drone, he or she should call the police, giving his or her name and the place where the drone was found; "describe the 'character of behavior' of the aircraft"; clarify whether there is video surveillance nearby; do not take pictures or make phone calls nearby.

The authorities admit that drones regularly fly into Belarus.
