A Fully Chinese Drone Was Discovered In Ukraine For The First Time

This proves once again the cooperation between Beijing and Moscow.

The new Russian decoy drone, which is used to deceive Ukrainian air defense, is made entirely of Chinese parts. This is reported by The Telegraph.

The discovery, which was made by Ukrainian intelligence, is the first time that Russian Federation has used a weapon made only from Chinese components. This once again proves the cooperation between Beijing and Moscow, despite the fact that Chinese leader Si Jinping assures that his country does not supply lethal weapons to either side of the war in Ukraine.

"Although Chinese technology is also used in other Russian weapons, it has always been combined with components from other countries," the publication added.

The Ukrainian intelligence agency also said it managed to seize two new drones and disassemble them. The drone in question is the CBTS.611000, which is usually used for reconnaissance and as a decoy, but it can also carry a warhead weighing up to 15 kilograms.

"Nearly half of the components of one of the drones were manufactured by CUAV Technology, a company based in Guangdong province that advertises itself as an 'open drone solutions provider.' These parts included an autopilot flight controller, navigation modules and antennas, a flight speed sensor, and a Pitot tube. In 2022, the company announced that it would impose restrictions on exporting its products to Russia and Ukraine to prevent them from being used for military purposes. However, the recently discovered drones are not the first time that CUAV Technology products have been found in Russia," The Telegraph recalled.
