Ukrainian Fighters Destroyed A Russian KOP-2 REB System

Fighters of the AFU's Unmanned Systems Force destroyed an experimental Russian electronic warfare complex "KOP-2" ("Detection and Suppression Complex-2"). It took only two drones to hit this target.

The Telegram channel of the AFU Unmanned Systems Forces reported that the "KOP-2" was destroyed by operators of the 424 Svarog Battalion. With the help of such REB means, the Russians are trying to find effective counteraction to Ukrainian drones.

It is noted that the "KOP-2" scans the airwaves in a wide range, detects the frequency on which the drone operates and tries to jam it with a powerful signal. The AFU's Unmanned Systems Force shared that this is a very expensive and rare technique that the enemy usually uses to cover important targets.

"However, in real combat, the KOP-2 did not survive the encounter with the operators of the Svarog battalion. Their first accurate shot put the equipment out of action, and the next one completely destroyed the complex," the report said.
