American billionaire urged to focus on Mars.

American entrepreneur Ilon Musk has called on the international community to focus on missions to Mars. The corresponding appeal was posted on his page in social network X.

"It's time to retire the ISS and focus on Mars," he said.

In 2024, Musk said that colonizing Mars would require at least 1 million people and several million tons of cargo that could be delivered there in 20 years.

On March 17, 2025, Musk said that humans could set foot on Mars for the first time in the next 5-7 years.
