Kastutis Budris demands more pressure on Russia.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kastutis Budrys called for increased pressure on Russia and its partners amid a deadly strike on the Ukrainian capital.

He wrote this on social network X, European Truth reports.

On Thursday, July 31, Budrys said that Russia's response to calls for peace from the U.S., Europe and Ukraine has been new acts of terror and destruction.

"The world has woken up again to terrible news from Ukraine - dead civilians, destroyed apartment buildings, hospitals and schools. Decisive action is needed to increase pressure on Russia and its partners who are contributing to the war," he stressed.

It is known that on the night of July 31, Russia launched strikes on regions of Ukraine. The strike in Kiev destroyed the entrance of a residential building, eight dead and more than 100 injured are known.

The daughter of the US President's special envoy for Ukraine Keith Kellogg, Megan Mobbs, also commented on the Russian strike on regions of Ukraine and said that Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin is "testing America's resolve and strength."

The Russian attack was also condemned by the foreign minister of the Finnish OSCE chairmanship, Elina Valtonen, and her Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna.
