Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei made his first public appearance two weeks after signing a ceasefire agreement with Israel.

It was noted that Khamenei made his first public appearance since the 12-day war with Israel in June.

A video released by state media showed dozens of people attending a ceremony to mark Ashura, the holiest day in the Shiite Muslim calendar, standing and singing as Khamenei entered the hall where government events are held.
