What about on foot?

The Ministry of Forestry of Belarus (Minleskhoz) reported that the district executive committees had introduced restrictions on visiting forests in 117 districts of Belarus. According to July 6, only one district in one of the regions is marked green on the interactive map, writes "Telegraf".

So, according to the Ministry of Forestry, there are no bans only in Mahiliou district on Sunday. The rest of the map is yellow, visiting the forests is limited.

But it's not a complete ban, and Belarusians can still go for mushrooms and berries. But you can't drive in by car. The only question is whether the forest is not dried up because of the heat, which came to many areas in the first days of July.

What can and can't be done when restricting forest visitation?

As previously explained in the Ministry of Forestry, the restriction on forest visitation is introduced in the 3rd class of danger. A complete ban on visiting forests is applied at the 4th and 5th classes of danger.

With the restriction to enter the forest you can:

walk;

gather mushrooms and berries.

No:

enter by car;

build fires.

When is the fine up to 1260 BYN?

The Ministry of Forestry warns of strict measures for those who violate the ban on visiting forests in the fire-hazardous period.

So, violators face a fine of up to 12 basic units (now 504 rubles). However, if a person's actions cause a fire, resulting in the destruction or damage to forests, the punishment will be stricter - up to 30 basic units (1260 rubles). At the same time, the offender is obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the forest fund.
