Ports, a power plant and a floating militant radar station were hit.
On the night of Monday, July 7, the IDF struck military facilities belonging to the Houthis in the ports of Al Hodeidah, Ras Isa, Salif, as well as the Ras Kanatib power plant. The operation was dubbed "Black Flag," writes the "Details".
The IDF Spokesperson's Office said at 00:33. IAF fighter jets and IDF Navy warships carried out the strikes based on accurate data from the Army Intelligence Directorate. The destroyed ports were used by the terrorist regime of the Houthis to transfer weapons from the Iranian regime for terrorist attacks against Israel and its allies. The strike came after repeated attempts by the Houthis on peaceful life in Israel. Their attacks included the launching of drones and surface-to-surface missiles toward Israeli territory.
An hour before the attack, the press office issued a message to the Houthis in Arabic. It was read out by Awihai Adrai, who was responsible for dealing with the Arab media. The message called on Hodeidah residents to leave the port area and industrial zones as soon as possible.
A among the terrorist targets struck at the port of Ras Isa was the commercial ship Galaxy Leader, which was seized by the Houthis in November 2023.
