An attack by 14 drones has sunk the Russian ship Port Olya 4, which was bringing a cargo of components for Shahed kamikaze drones to Russian Federation, writes Focus.

The Russian dry cargo ship Port Olya 4 was seriously damaged, according to a report by Russian Telegram channel NEZYGAR. Sources assure that the seaport on the Caspian Sea suffered an attack by dozens of drones. At the same time, they hint that Azerbaijan may be involved in the incident.

Russian media said the ship belonged to Russian businessman Jamaldin Pashayev. According to the Russians, 14 drones allegedly struck a port on the Caspian Sea in the Astrakhan region, and they were flying from the direction of Azerbaijan. The Russian Armed Forces' air defense equipment is said to have shot down a dozen drones, but some still hit the target. The channel separately noted that "official structures do not comment on the information."

In the meantime, the Telegram channel of OSINTers Cyberborosno found a photo of the dry cargo ship "Port Olya 4" before and after the events of August 15. Analysts noticed two characteristic dots on the sides and assured that it seems to be the one in question.
