Ukrainian Black Hawk With A Secret Purpose Flew Over Poland

We are talking specifically about GUR helicopters.

Ukrainian UH-60A Black Hawk multirole helicopters were spotted over the territory of Poland during a flight with an unknown target. This was reported by local airspotters, the information was confirmed by the specialized publication Defence24.

In Ukraine, the only operator of this type of combat vehicles is the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense. The characteristic livery of the hull confirms that these are the GUR helicopters.

A spokesman for the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces said that the flight took place in coordination with the Polish side, but its purpose and nature remain classified. Also unknown is the final destination of these Black Hawk and whether they have already returned to Ukraine after the mission.

The GSD is known to operate two UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. The first was spotted in February 2023 and was previously owned by a civilian company, Ace Aeronautics, which specializes in upgrading the cockpits of transport aircraft. The origin of the second helicopter, captured on video in March 2024, is still unknown.

In addition, the Czech initiative Dárek pro Putina (Gift for Putin) has raised funds for the purchase of a third UH-60 helicopter for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR.
