Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called an emergency press conference on Thursday to announce that the Belarusian regime had released 52 political prisoners, LRT reported.

The released political prisoners are now in Lithuania.
On September 11, Alexander Lukashenko met with Deputy Special Representative of the U.S. President John Cole. Also, Chris Smith, deputy assistant U.S. secretary of state for Europe, came to Minsk. Later it became known about the removal of sanctions from Belavia.
