  • 23.09.2025, 15:26

(Updated) The border will open on the night of Sept. 25.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk says Poland is reopening its border with Belarus. The head of the Interior Ministry will issue a special order today, September 23.

"We have made a decision together with the Interior Minister, who will issue a relevant order today to reopen the railway and road border crossings [with Belarus], which were closed due to the Zapad exercise and the growing threat and political instability near our border," Prime Minister Donald Tusk said.

Polish Prime Minister said that the border will be opened on the night of September 25.

Tusk said that Poland is ready to close the border again if the threat from Belarus grows.

It should be noted that Poland's border with Belarus was closed on the night of September 12, when the exercise "West-2025" started in our country. The border closure led to blockade of transit of Chinese goods to Europe.
